It's not manly or unmanly, as it needs to be done, whether with a nail file or a grinder! My Wife fixes up my feet every now and then when they get too uncomfortable to walk due to callouses. I keep my toenails in check myself though, there's no reason not to.

[QUOTE=carlmaloschneider;1560559]Went to the pub wearing black nail polish today. See, I dressed up as a mummy for Halloween last night and Cindy painted my nails. So this morning she informs me she has no nail polish remover, so off I go to my dad's 88th birthday lunch wearing black nail polish. I must say, people seemed very judgemental...

I quite like it though; I could certainly take to wearing it...

I would have used varsol, or paint thinner, or something.........

I held back for so long.....

    In my opinion,
A pedicure is unmanly... No matter what the situation is.

When's the last time you saw a group of guys going to get their toe nails done? Then bragging about it? Never, unless you know...

My mother wouldn't approve if I got a pedicure.. I won't even start on what my father would say.

Lord have mercy that on that poor woman... The look on her face.. Priceless.

At the end of the day it's a YMMV thing and to each their own, as long as you enjoyed it.

If you're diabetic, having your feet properly looked after is paramount to good health. Many diabetics who look after their own feet can cut themselves, which leads to infection, and with the associated diabetic nerve damage and poor circulation in the feet, infection can be a serious issue.

So a pedicure is an advised way for foot care for many who are diabetic...

Maybe I should rephrase my last post as it was a little harsh.

Unless medically advised by a physician. My thoughts about a pedicures "manliness" remain. Even then it's still not manly .. Just nessescary and for your health.

Manly or not manly, ya gotta do what's necessary if ya want to live to a ripe old age so ya can then snipe at anyone younger and get away with it because yer an old foggy.
