Thread: Lagavulin is Celebrating

Their 200th anniversary this year. They will release a special 8 year old whisky. Available in the UK in April and worldwide will have to wait a bit longer. Going to try and grab a bottle.

I find it odd that such an old company would rush out a whiskey for such a celebration. I would have preferred a 20 or 25 year old release.

Definitely understand it does seem a little odd however 45 years of Whiskey or Whisky (depending on your location) consumption has taught me one thing. If the gentlemen responsible for issuing this celebratory offering feel it exhibits the necessary attributes the least I can do is taste a dram or two. I mean what do I have to lose right?
