    Default Frost-hardy cacti

I recently found out about frost-hardy cacti. Apparently Opuntia fragilis occurs as far north as 8° south of the Arctic Circle.
Here in Germany quite a few specialist nurseries have great collections.
I bought a few and planted them today. Although some of them should be able to withstand rain I'll keep sheltered from rain.

Anyone else here that has any experience with keeping frost-hardy cacti?

BTW I have toyed with the idea of posting this under the subforum knives and other sharp things.
