Thanks Martin, for some reason pictures just can't capture how nice that Black Walnut looks with the Tru Oil finish on it.
I managed to flatten the inspection cover so that it's once again usable but since I use a torque wrench calibrated in inch pounds I'll never bend the one that I bought so I'm thinking about making another clock for me in remembrance of Tc's visit, only the straightened cover plate would be at the top or bottom of the plaque instead of having the hands come out of it.
Just a thought, I'm always 'thunking' as wallyeyeman would say but not always in the best way.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

It is a way cool clock, and it fits on that wall pretty good, as a matter of a fact it was one area I was saving for something special, the kids are always getting me stuff for the wall but right over my box I only had a couple I think it fills the area nicely and it's functional,, it was a toss up I have a David Mann picture on another wall that I thought about but where it is gets seen a lot cause it's over the tool box. Thank you Roy one day I,ll do something nice for you. Tc

She's looking forward to it too,, told me this work thing is messing up her plans , so I need to get some serious time off this fall or spring, But regardless some day we ride again, I still have a lot of years left in me on my bike. Tc
