I remember when Opel Kadette's were fairly common back then. Was the Manta the mini-Vette one?
Those should be highly collectible now.

The GT was the Mini Vette one. These engines will fit them also!
The Manta looked more like this. I don't have a picture handy but this link is turn three at Brainard.
That camber is a little funky......:rofl2:
Tim Bleed's ITB Opel Manta
12 geese in the back of an Opel Kadette station weagon for a 100 mile or so trip.... long story!
Never owned a Gt but a few Sonnets. I still have a few parts for those also but no V4 tractor engines.;)
A friend put a 6 cylinder in one for ice racing and that was cool!
I use to crew for this one.
Bob Youngdahl's Super Production Elva Courier
and drove this one also.
Mike Brown's ITA VW GTI
Attachment 294419...bout right for back in the day...
A classic car does not have a cup holder and many things found in modern cars.
The point was to drive and pay attention while doing so. For myself even a radio is to much distraction while driving.
I beg to disagree the cig lighters are now power ports.....
An arguably true classic didn't have a cig lighter.
Yup....Stayed in trouble playing with those in the back seat.......
Just could not help myself.....Snap! Slap!
