An arguably true classic didn't have a cig lighter.
Sure they did! Everyone had a Zippo in their pocket back when.

And you had a flat tire often enough to get out and take a smoke break!

My 51, no cup holders, but it does have a lighter and ashtray.
My 90, same as above, still no cup holders.
My 05, 3 rows of cup holders, no lighter anymore, or ashtray, coin cubby now, in roof entertainment system, all the things to distract you from the horrible driving experience you are living with.
I’m considering an 18 now, will be looking to regain some road feel again, albeit still in an all wheel drive..

Those opel’s always looked cool to me.. never had an opportunity to get in one though.

True, Tim!.....As a kid, I remember more than once scooping up ditch-water with a thermos and hauling it back to my dad at the car....I seem to remember how he had whittled on a piece of wood to stick into the heater-hoses and plug that off.
He was brilliant. Just had to ask him. He would tell you!
He just smoked and waited for my return trip!

One time, we ran out of gas in East Texas.

He walked-up the 1st dirt road and next thing we knew he was going by, legs hanging-off an old flatbed 1-ton with about 3 generations of Black folks on board.
    Made an impression......

    Came back with gas, though!

Very creative. I never tried it but I bet it would work for wood ticks also!

Only if you remember to take the tick off your body first!
