I just read the news article from Summer 2015 about the plant in my pics. The plant is an Agave Americana approximately 6 feet tall with a stalk nearly 20 feet tall. The plant was estimated to be around 50 years old. It produced several pups that have been planted.

Pups? This keeps getting better. I'm going to have to do some reading I should think.

    Way Cool!

Were the seeds used to propagate it? To grow that large 'Before' deciding to be able to take Jack up the Agave Stalk to the Giant was quite a feat!

    Inquiring minds want to know.

From the stalk or from the base of the "parent" plant?
