My daughter did me the favor of picking strawberries while I was working on supper for her, me and the two grandkids. She ended up with about 3/4 of a gallon but I failed to take pics of the container. However here's a pic of part of the harvest atop of some homemade vanilla ice cream. It was Nummy!

    Another Bear Joke:

Two men were hiking in grizzly bear country and came around a corner on the trail and were just a few yards from a large grizzly. The men froze.

The grizzly turned to face them.

Slowly ever so slowly one man bent over and started tightening his shoe laces.

The other whispered; "Do you really think you can out run it"? The other whispered back; "Don't have to--just need to outrun you".

    OK, OK! It's

My seeds have been sprouting in the last week. Here's a shot of carrots. I also have Swiss chard, lettuce, spinach, and corn coming along.

My neighbors yard and I LOVE purple flowers, even thistles.

If they are purple they smell and look good!

At last. Something from the garden.

You can see the little bugger top center. We have a ton of berries. Wish they would ripen.

I have no proof but I heard that my daughters dog is sneaking into the neighbors garden and stealing strawberries.....

I wonder what his diet is lacking?
