I am planning to invite my friends in the UK to spend a weekend in October with us in Germany. We would like to go to a beer festival. The most famous one of course is the Oktoberfest in Munich. Unfortunately that starts mid September and ends early October, a bit to early for us. By then the summer holidays will just have ended.

Who knows one somewhere mid to late October that is fun for non-Germans as well?
