I used to live IN the mountains, not like now where im next to them. I had to put up a fence around my rose bushes because dear would eat them. PITA.

This is what is looks like with the panels up

They are just shy of 6' so far we haven't had a Deer jump it..

I built is so it all comes down each year, so we don't lose it to the snow crush.

Hooked up the Cultivator to the Kubota and made 2 passes on the Near Acre ,, yeah still a weeeeeeee bit muddy at the south end hehe good thing I have 4x4 other wise I would have had fun digging it outta the mud.
Guess I will wait a week or 2 more and try again..

I was checking out my tomato plant and low and behold there's a bloom in there.

I planted Roma as they can be used for sandwiches or used for cooking.

    First flowers in my yard.

The ones next to the warm house foundation are much larger. I did not put a stick there but they have grown over a few days.

    In southern Ontario:
Magnolias, tulips, daffodils, forsythia are out and my hostas are just poking their noses up. Peonies are about a foot high and some of the fruit trees are starting to blossom. Green leaves are showing on most of the trees.

I think I can safely put my snowblower away

Already have tomatoes starting in the upper garden that gets the most sun. Both Romas and Rutgers Heirlooms. Squash is flowering. Cucumbers are starting to flower. Flowers also on the bell peppers. Come on bees, let's see some pollination!

While I didn't taste any from today's picking they are fairly good flavored and sweet/I can't remember the variety but they are an ever bearing type.
