Looks great Mike! Question, on your running boards where you step, what treatment will you use? Rubber inserts? Or something else?, hate to see that new paint worn off. I have used Rhino liner with great success,

The running boards receive three aluminum channels that hold some rubber treads. Running board protectors but really these aren’t for standing as much as mud deflection.

Looks great. Now the light at the end of the tunnel definitely looks like daylight, not the headlight of the locomotive.

Thanks gents. Appreciate the kind words, as you’ve followed this years saga..
Celebrating 31 years with my bride today, and luckily I made a reservation couple weeks back before I forgot!
So off for a lovely steak dinner, than home to lay on some more paint and be done this stage!
Cannot believe the weather! +20’ still and staying warm tonight so I can get the color and clear on!
    Cheers gents.
Will be going back over everything once cured, with 1500 grit wet and up to really make everything pop and be bbs smooth!
Any tips for final buff in clear Ness? Much appreciated..

If she has put up with you with this project let alone the last 31 years you better include a rain check for a grand tour in this car to a destination of her choice for a gift!
