Thanked: 4206Definitely would have snapped within another month or so I’d bet.
And for sure Jerry, old cars only look good mobile.
Side of the road and everyone’s like oh yeah,,old car,, tisk tisk...
I ordered a new Gates online, but had to settle for a tsc farm equivalent today as not a lot open on sundays for car parts up here..
Immediate improvement in charge, and so much quieter engine. Who knew the belt was making so much high frequency chatter as I drove..
Great night for a rip too men.

Thanked: 4206I love that pic Roy, but for the life of me can’t envision how he’s coming out of a turn with his outside wheels high like that,, unless it’s like a stunt car move going up on the side and seeing how long he can hold it.

I noticed that too. Stunt guy from way back would be my guess. Still, cool pic.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Besides the '52" I noticed that Both Guys are leaning to their right/as if to help keep the car upright--

Those guys are crazy! Those wheels look about to buckle..
I wonder if there are a sequence of pics for that stunt?“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Thanked: 4206Rainy day, decided to polish up the hubs and change the inset colour to Black as it matches my grill badge, and the original red was really faded anyway.
Some center caps are in much better shape than others..
They all look good when installed. That’s what matters..

Thanked: 4206Spring is coming!
Got me a few upgrades coming to celebrate.
Caswell gas tank sealer since I’ve been wanting to do a proper tank purge since I got her.
And a much needed brake upgrade.
Not built for my year, but should work mounted off the frame strut right near the master with minimul new tubing required.
Will be very nice to have assisted braking this season.
Bought some new shoes for the front as well in anticipation of harder use..
