Thanked: 4207Have the case with a local welder after my attempt with my dc tig welder was a bust..
Tried on a scrap piece of aluminum from work and it was just poppin and cookin no matter what I did.
So I defer to the experts.
In the long run, it’ll give me piece of mind.
Took another really close look, and see no other issues. But I will put it together dry once and run it through it’s paces a few times it’s the actual shifter before I call this good.
Now on to figuring out the engine lift. Got a plan involving a coupling extender that I can mount on top of the existing head stud and not loosen off the original nut."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

You seem intersted in removing the engine and the tranny together.
Would it be eassier in the long run to remove them seperately?
