A update. While out fishing Sunday, there were three boats on the lake, hunting. As soon as these guys pulled their decoys and headed for home, here came the Canada geese. I just laughed, as they flew directly over me within 25'. Could have had my limit.

The geese around here aren't stupid, they've been shot at since the late 70s. My partner and I always took are fishing gear with us during the early season. Was the perfect camouflage for those mid day, jump hunts.
They thought we were fishermen, and didn't pay much mind to us. Till we drop the rods n grabbed the GATS.Mike

Thanked: 227Finally got out this morning.
Set myself up in some good long grass to get well hidden and got comfy.
Alas didn't fired a shot. There was nothing i felt comfortable on the range when I picked them up and really only saw a few teal and a lone pintail. Think I'll head a bit west of where I was though as there was plenty shooting there.
Got a nice picture though.
