The youtube video of this thing is over the top. Sad to see that so many guys will drop top dollars for this and still be miserably uncomfortable. When, possibly, they could have spent half and been shaving comfortably for a lifetime.

I've got it! Two blades: one hot (for whatever marketing wank reason they're peddling already) and once icy cool to sooth the burn.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Yup - over the top.

Have to admit that I don’t see the point. How can a hot blade reproduce the feeling of a hot towel pre-shave and warm lather shave? Couldn’t I just let my razor sit in hot water to warm up the metal and get a similar effect?

Marketing gimmick supported with pseudo science from a pretty lady in a lab coat?

If you look at it the blades do not get warm but the strip on the head that touches your skin before the blade.
