I quit smoking pot a few years ago but my wife loves it. Funny how that works. For me it’s easier knowing she doesn’t have to go meet some sketchy drug dealer for her weed. You can order it online and it ships right to your door or visit the few stores around you. ( we’ve got a few here in niagara.)
There should be roadside tests that are easily administered. Back in my teenage years we used to get high as hell and drive around. They’ve been campaigning hard against this for some time now but I remember when it wasn’t even mentioned.
People are peaceful when they smoke weed, never violent or belligerent. It’s nice, doesn’t destroy you like heroin or cocaine. You don’t really get addicted to it.
The only thing I’ll say Ontario fudged from the beginning was controlling it via OCS. It would have been way easier and better for the consumer to leave the “illegal dispensaries” open instead of monopolizing it, with too few locations.
If you partake enjoy :)
Season over here, more a tribute to Dieseld.
Haven't smoked for over 15 years, but apparently that is nice and it does smell like diesel.

Still illegal here.
Mmmmm. Good stuff.!
the exception being, no one has ever overdosed from Marijuana to my knowledge.. along those same lines about individual freedoms small amounts of these things won't normally kill you, but when it takes over your life to where you can't be viable to society there in lies a grave problem. Some can take something and not get hooked, others are totally consumed by it. We are all totally unique mentally and physically thus the problem.. Also the monetary impact of Pot being legal, is astronomical not by the sale and taxation of it but the reduced strain on the legal systems. Police, courts, jail etc... Just my 2 cents, interesting thread for sure.
Yeah, I've noticed that today, more and more countries are legalizing marijuana use, and not only for medical purpose, but even for inner consumation.
I don't smoke.
Spacecakes dude!
It has been proven that CBD and THC products are less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol because CBD products and THC doesn't have all those nocive and harmful substances for our body that we can find in ciggarets, and furthermore, they have a beneficial effect on our bodies. For example CBD oil and THC gummies are used for treating diseases like anxiety, depression or insomnia. Even in cases of cancer it is used for decreasing pains caused by the tumor. You can read much more on https://getkush.io/product-category/...s/thc-gummies/. You can even order some THC and CBD products here. Check it out.
I have been using CBD oil as needed for I guess a year or two. It works great for me and makes way more sense to me than a daily pill. If I catch it early in about 30 minutes it has usually knocked it out.
I tried cannabis (capsule...low THC) for the first time in my life (I am 64) when it was legalized here in Canada. Can't say it did much for me. I will take an expensive rum or cognac any day.
Your "low THC" cannabis is not intended/designed to be the equivalent of "an expensive rum or cognac". An appropriate beverage would be [the original] "hard seltzers" (low ABV). If you're looking for a THC-equivalent to rum or cognac, I'd suggest taking a second (third? fourth?) capsule. A follow-up post is encouraged. (I am 69)
Comparing apples and oranges. Given a choice between cannabis or a fine spirit I will take a spirit any day. Cannabis is not my cup of tea.
I must be high. Got a note that there was some activity in this thread..
But nope..
Must be da good stuff..
Lol..
I tried weed for the first time on Christmas eve.
Maybe because i was sad, maybe because i was alone, but OMG, I laid on the floor and couldn't get up for hours, it was the worst feeling I have ever experienced.
If I want to get in a mess, I'll stick to the drink.
Maybe having a laugh with friends or at a party but weed for one is not something I would recommend lol
Damn! How much did ya smoke.
I guess smoking it most of my life, has made me quite tempered.
These days it's only around a gram a day. That's about a good joint worth of weed.
Today's weed is way more potent than it was in the 70s and 80s. It's crazy what they've done with the plant, and with legalization, Doctors can finally study it, and it's use in medicine.
I dont know they were pre made so i had 3.
on another note, now I'm on my own i have remaide myself, my new threads.

:tu. Looking good
Very nice Steve. You look very dapper.
Glad to see you sharp and with a smile Steve :)
Cannabis can be a hit and a miss AFAIK. For years I used edibles to handle my fibromyalgia, most of the time it helped to get by... And sometimes it made things worse. It's not an experience I would recommend when you are in a bad vibe already, it can bring you to dark places. But with friends, in a cheery environment yes, it could be a far better experience.
Oh, and kids, not that I condone doing illegal drugs, but if want to try, don't go through your first experience alone, have someone support and guide you. It's far safer.
I think good advice would be (as with many unknowns) start with a very small dose and sit with that until you know how it affects you. Instead of smoking the whole thing start with one..."puff"(?)...then next time increase if necessary.
Why are we encouraging people to become dope smoking hippies? Is this what we have degraded into? A society of potheads! It's no wonder this world is in the shape that it's in!
I really don't believe there's a problem with weed, government has a problem not making money from it. So now most states have legalized it.
I've smoked for roughly 40 of my 55 years on the forsaken planet. And never considered myself a pothead/ burnout.
I enjoy it more than drinking, for which I've lost a many O' friends to thru alcohol related deaths, but still token with the same crowd, today.
My way to unwind, and chill out. Plus side to it....it makes me creative in things I like doing, gets me thinking in great depth and detail. Great for restoration. :nj
Your looking very well, Steve. Next try some magic mushrooms, listen to some Pink Floyd and enjoy the forth dimension. :D
Marijuana is a safe drug, but like alcohol it is open to abuse. Go down your local hospital on a Friday and Saturday night and see how many 'gents' have gotten into a bout of fisticuffs from quaffing to much booze.
How many families have been torn in half because the old man has beaten his wife or children whilst drunk?
The problem with today's marijauna on the black market is that it is far stronger than it needs to be, the THC is man made and sprayed on to get a more potent product. I dont smoke it but I can understand if someone smokes a joint here or there like a responsible alcohol drinker would.
And now look atcha' ...:roflmao:roflmao:roflmao:roflmao
Sorry, couldn't resist.
I agree that it makes no sense that reefer is illegal but alcohol is legal. Alcohol is a really dangerous drug, is really addictive AND hard on your body; all things I don't think you can say about the loco weed. Fun fact: alcohol is one of the few drugs that you can die from the effects of withdrawal. This is not true of morphine, heroine, meth or cocaine.
The thing though that eats at me sometimes, is the prohibition of medical cannabis in some countries (mine included, my take is "because racism", long to explain but quite valid).
The human body, to function properly, uses and secretes several substances, some of which are notoriously abuse inducing drugs. That is particularly true for morphin, still there is a medical use for morphin.
In the same way, we have a fully functioning "endocannabinoid system", with two separate kinds of receptors and a family of molecules to work with that. Heck, there is a "gene of euphoria" that 1/4 person has which makes them naturally happy and euphoric most of the time, because the enzyme that should destroy anandamid, the human body's equivalent of THC (very close molecule), is secreted in lower quantities.
That it's prohibited creates a chilling effect on any kind of research in a lot of countries. And instead of having doctors well versed in the workings of the mind and body studying the molecules, we have greedy marketers that sell that just like snake oil peddlers.
And at the other hand of the spectrum, we are offered molecules that could are popped like candies with severe adverse effects.
I almost became a (prescribed) xanax addict, but boy, I've never been as angry and cranky as when reaching Xanax withdrawal. And that was several times a day. And I wasn't even on a high dosage.
I feel that we can agree to disagree on the usage of marijuana as a recreational drug, but there should be a consensus on the actual scientific medical aspects of the product.
I might be wrong but when I was in England it was said that the only reason weed wasn't legal was because there was no roadside test like the breathalyzer.
Saying that weed is legal in a lot of places now including Canada, I can buy it in the shop if I was stupid enough to want another few hours on the kitchen floor.
There is a roadside test now, the cop comes to the car and if you say "Hey Dude". Well don't :rofl2:
Unbelievable! I love you guys but I have to respectfully disagree with your analysis of weed. However, you are entitled to your thoughts and what you believe. I will always fight for your rights to think how you think even if I don't agree with it. That's what makes us strong!
