Thread: I’ve been blessed

I have truly been blessed with good friends, neighbors and family. So far I’ve received 3 early Christmas gifts and I’m honored that they think so much of me.

My first early gift was from my Brother it was a Winchester 94 30-40 manufactured in 1973 it doesn’t appear to have ever been fired.

The next gift was from a really good friend/ Ham Radio elmer. A couple of months back I developed a 20,000 gallons per day water leak that resulted in a rather high water bill. Because I’m disabled and have low income the rural water dept was allowing me to pay it out in payments without threat of disconnection. My friend went down and paid it off (154.00). I didn’t know until I tried to make a payment.

Yesterday the same friend brought me a Winchester 17 piece cleaning kit in a wood chest.

Having friends like that is the real blessing. I've had a couple of friends like that in life and try to be one to others whenever I can.
