    Get some quality marking gauges too.

    If you practice dovetails for a bit you will get good, quick. I wouldn’t bother with any angle guides or other such things. For layout lines just make your own dovetail gauge. For laying out even dovetails you need a divider. Since you lay out your tails from your pin board or vice versa depending on how you like to do it, they can’t help but be well fitted. Sawing to the lines is the most important. I would skip trying to walk into a good fit by pairing with a chisel and reserve that for visible joints, if needed.
