We've had 3 frosts so they are still thriving.
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

With my small yard we got a couple of half pints of horseradish.
Experimented with grating and grinding.
Maybe another half pint but I am done crying for the night!

The snow has melted for now and I uncovered one end of the patch to see what is going on.
Unless some Walla Walla expert chimes in I think I will let the maple leaves cover them for the winter.

Your guess is as good as mine. We really don't have any leaves in the fields.
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

I think that I am going to rake some leaves over them similar to straw.
The main thing I am worried about is when raking the leaves off in the spring if I will damage the plants.......
What is the worst that will happen?

Maybe instead of a rake, you could gently remove the leaves with your hands so the shoots won't get damaged?
