I just set out a half dozen Poblano bushes and I planted a bed of jalapeno seeds too. Two of last year's tomato plants made it through the winter and one even threw flowers and there are a couple of tomatoes on it. The bananas got savaged by the strong winds we had over the winter but I am hoping they throw flowers by the fall and if the winter is kind, maybe we will get a bunch of bananas or two. We never got a freeze this past winter and I am hoping it doesn't freeze next winter either. Tomato plants that were set out a couple weeks ago got trampled by some animal, probably a coon. The one survivor now has a wire cage around it.
