Lake of the Ozarks
Here's a few pics from my new place at the Lake.
My parents had a condo there years ago, and I've had an itch to get back.
I was always a PWC guy (I used to own a Seadoo GTX) and I'm looking for another one right now. There's nothing like being right on the water. I'm currently looking at a used Seadoo GTX 300. This puppy has a bit more HP than my old one. Zoom!
I can't wait to get back on the water!

Back in 1974, the wife and I spent our honeymoon at Lodge of the Four Season on Lake of the Ozarks.
Brings back great memories of renting a speedboat and crusing around Bagnell Dam.
It certainly is a beautiful place.

Thanked: 4826PWC lost a bit of lustre after I got hooked on the Zodiac Hurricane 753 at work. They are still fun and I’d get another one. Ocean riding in the big swells is big kicks. Enjoy your new digs. It looks pretty.

Spent a great deal of my off time at LOTO, being I lived not to far, it was a normal weekend to head down, favorite bar, Big Dicks Halfway Inn. Party cove , and big boats. In my 40,s I found a better place though, Bull Shoals

Those look like fun!
I had a Seadoo GTX when my parents used to have a place at the Lake. LOTO has really rough water due to all the boat traffic, but that was actually fun on a Seadoo. Glassy water is nice at times, but I loved carving around through the waves coming at me from all angles.

Thanked: 4826You should try one in the open ocean!
Especially in places that have very large waves with long spacing. It’s a work out!
The Hurricane has enough power that you can get hurt if you don’t know what you are doing. We have crazy seas out here and it can be quite a work out with either craft. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
