It was great to be the Movember Elves. I’m glad you have made good use of the supplies.
I used that same salt and pepper mill kit last year With matching measuring cups.
My daughter says one has become difficult to turn.

I’m cleaning up my wood shop finally as I have a few things to turn this fall!
Can’t wait to make some shavings once more .
Those look terrific gents..
I am looking forward to your projects. Will we see a loom strop for Movember?
Difficult to turn? That would be a bummer as I just bought five sets of these kits for Christmas Gifts. Did you polish those tops? They look to have more shine than mine. Those Resin and wood blanks sure look nice. A great-looking set! Thanks for posting your work.
Mike, I will be happy to see what my Lathe Mentor is turning next. Make it a tough one so I can have a new project to copy. LOL.
Ya never know what is going to be on the block this year Shaun!
;)
And regarding the pepper mill being sticky, make sure the grind isn’t set too course as that can make them hard to start, specially with the smaller lever arm on those cranks.
Made this set today. Christmas gifts. CA finish and again it's from the wood of the tree in my front yard, Locust. I just couldn't get the finish to show very well. Attachment 345318
Nice grain on those. Captured well in the profile you chose too.
Nice job buddy.
