    Default White's Boots factory tour

All my life I have been a bit of a shoe and boot addict, I can't resist any video showing how boots are made, I own a few British handmade boots, and one pair of American boots, my Red Wing Iron Ranger 8111, I may have to get myself a pair of these White's in the future.

If you haven't already, check out the "Rose Anvil" youtube channel. His thing is cutting boots in half, showing how they are made. Really oddly addictive.

Also, just a couple of days ago Jason from Fireball tool had a go at making a boot at Nick's. It give a good idea of just how much skill goes into making a great pair of boots...

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I do like a nice pair of handmade shoes and boots. A well made pair will last years.

I finally had to part with my Whites boots last year. I had had them for close to 30 years. Quit wearing them about 5 years ago. I had them rebuilt 3 times durring there life and i think they cost me 225.bucks back in the early 90s. I remember breaking in my feet to them. At least thats how i remember it. Lol.

Its hard to beat boots made for your feet! Now I wear cheap boots as Im not in need of all the support and protection of good boots. I still have to have steal toe.for my job but I spend most of my day sitting so...
