btw, anyone interested in some fun car videos, check youtube user "bbshriver" I'm just now adding a bunch of videos from last weekeneds Amelia Island Concours, and there's some others of my cars up as well.

Does my 1952 Ford 8n count? I've rebuilt the starting system the hydrolics and the charging system.

I am in the early stages of a rebuild on a 1956 Ford truck... I can tell already that it is going to be a long project. I had a 1968 Chevy step side short box and a 1956 Chevy Station wagon that were pretty sweet back in high school but I (stupidly) sold them years ago. What I would really like is a '54 Chevy 2 door post.

Wildtim, I would say that an 8N counts... I love Ford tractors! I just sold a 1942 9N that was in pretty good shape. I really didn't want to but I just bought a 1960 Massey Ferguson MF35 for the live hydraulics and live PTO as well as other improvements that will make haying easier and I could not justify two tractors for a farm as small as mine. At least the 9N went to a restorer who is going to turn her into a show queen which is what she deserved in the first place. I have seen his other work and he is great.

Good luck with your restoration and post some pics when you are done.... just in case you haven't found it yet, the absolute best web resource for N tractors on the web is the ntractorclub which is the N tractor equivalent to this site. The guys there are fantastic and no stupid question is stupid enough to elicit an unkind response with them.

I've spent a lot of time on N tractor club. Good bunch of guys, a little more rural than here . I got the Mechanics training course from them.

She runs really well, no smoke a little leakdown but the paint is really rough, no rust on the steel though. She still works my little patch, we've been moving firewood and hauling water to the horses all winter as well as keeping the drives open. we're getting ready to overseed the back pasture this spring.

Someday she'll get a nice new red belly but I don't know when she will get the time off to let it dry.

Kewl, I've got an 88 Sportside with manual tranny. I've had the engine, and tranny rebuilt, the rear end replaced, also replaced the fuel pump and added a decent sound system. Plan on lowering it a tad, upholstery and paint and she'll be done.

I have a '57 Chevy 2 door post I rescued from a field in Oklahoma. It was hit in the front with frame damage so I put in a Fatman Fab front end, replaced the blue flame 6 with a 350 and patched up some rust. Now it mostly sits in the garage.
