"Delirium Tremens" Belgian ale
This is my first attempt at reviewing anything, so, here goes!
In front of me is a bottle of Delirium Tremens Belgian ale! White bottle reminiscent of old stone bottles, corked as most Belgian ales are, with a blue label with pink elephants, dancing alligators, and oriental style dragons! The beer is golden in color with a slight haze as it is bottle conditioned, and smells of fruit! The flavor is slightly sweet and spicy on the palate. this product is 8.5 % alcohol by volume. It is made in Melle/Ghent, Belgium by the Huyghe family brewery which has been in existence since 1654!
Here is their website: http://www.delirium.be/
My description in the flavor department is lacking I'm sure, but trust me this is an outstanding ale like no other you have ever had! Of course I say that about most Belgian ales!!
Oh! I almost forgot, the price I paid for a 25.4 oz. bottle was $8.99 plus tax!
I hope to review more Belgian ales in the future either in this thread or maybe in another! We'll see.

Thanked: 735Delirium Tremens is an outstanding, and quite potent brew.
I haven't had one a a while, but from what I remember I'd rate it a 8.5-9
I'd also suggest you try a Lambic.
