Default My front yard in Nth Idaho: Elk Herd

Here is part of the Elk herd that spends the winter in the back of our property...
They wandered into the front yard this morning to have breakfast...

And People ask why I love living in the Boonies

The closest ones are about 10 yards from the front door....

The first few came in, then the rest just came right down the driveway one and two at a time... They will stay down here usually until late March early April, but the winter was so hard this year they still haven't moved up the mountain at the back of the ranch...

You need to show her the pictures from the his backyard when the snow was up to the top of the fence.

If I could figure out how to make a living there, I would be moving in a heart beat.

That wouldn't phase her at all...

As long as the snow is cleared off the directv tv dish...

Even more of a reason for her to stay in and take a wild guess who gets to go out and shovel .....
