Here is part of the Elk herd that spends the winter in the back of our property...
They wandered into the front yard this morning to have breakfast...
And People ask why I love living in the Boonies
The closest ones are about 10 yards from the front door....
The first few came in, then the rest just came right down the driveway one and two at a time... They will stay down here usually until late March early April, but the winter was so hard this year they still haven't moved up the mountain at the back of the ranch...
