Acid cigars make a very small apertif sized cigar that is fantastic.

I'm a cheap date. I like BLACK & MILDS. I have had a Havannah hand rolled cigar imported from Brazil, it was just ok. Too damn big.

You should really try the Dutch Mehari's cigarillos sometime. I like 'em!

2 suggestions:
for a 20min smoke - Arturo Fuente "short story". fantastic cigar with a nice hit. potent and full.
for a 30min cigar - Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente "sun grown". amazing cigar. by far the best "bang for the buck" cigar out there. great taste and a buzz. i keep coming back to them. hell i got 7 empty boxes in my room left over right now.
no, i don't only smoke arturo fuente, i try and go thru sampler packs of many different types. but keep coming back to Fuente's. its an old house and he just makes an amazingly good quality cigar.
btw, i buy mine at www.holts.com always come fresh and fast.
SHORT STORY - http://www.holts.com/category.html?id=86775&trail=86665 4.0 x 49 : box of 25 - $115
CHATEAU FUENTE SUN GROWNS - http://www.holts.com/category.html?i...19&trail=86665 4.5 x 50 : box of 20 - $75
you can't go wrong there.

ps. if you want some cuban cigars. my favorite quick smoke cigar(20min) there is the Partagas SHORT. 4.4 x 42 - Box of 25 $126. http://www.cubanlous.com/partagas-sh...ars-p-189.html .. less spice in this cigar but still gives a great buzz.

My experience is limited, but so far, CAO Maduro is one of my favorite. From the CAO webpage…
CAO Maduro (marketing blurb) vintage harvest Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers around Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers bound by spicy Ecuadorian leaves. (blab blab..) Rich, dark and box pressed, Maduro flaunts notes of cedar, coffee and black pepper (blab blab).
Padron is another I like. The 3000 is a nice Robusto, 52 ring at 5 ½. Nicaraguan tobacco from Cuban seed. Coffee a coca are predominate flavors.
I think I see a trend, Nicaraguan tobacco appears to be my preference as well as the nice dark, oily Maduro wrapper. The CAO is the same size but different shape.

Well.........since we ARE talking about the finer things in life.............my personal favorite of ANY cigar I've tried:
Padron 1964 Anniversario "Principe" Maduro 4.5 x 46
around $7 - $8 (by the box of 25).
Absolute heaven!

The last box I purchased (years ago) was Padron Anniversario. I was shocked by bow expensive they had gotten. I think i have around half of that a few years ago.

+1 on the Fuentes. i really like the storeys excellent short smoke and smaller ring gauge 20 -25 min and youre finished.
I also like the curley head nudes by fuente. A bit longer smoke time (40 min)but still a thinner smoke for all those who dont like the large ring sizes.
