So what are we looking at nessmuck? A Yew Longbow? It looks like it's well-crafted.
I have very similar arrows, BTW. Would almost put money on them being made by same person.

I do hunt not that it should make much difference but I shoot a Matthews DXT wit a 29in draw, 70lb pull, and shoot a Easton FMJ at 277 fps. My other bow is a 55lb Black Widow take down recurve. A lot more challenging to shoot then the Matthews and just as much fun
The bow is for elk hunting and at the time I thought I needed the extra draw weight. I found latter that I could easily have gotten by with a lower draw weight. Over the years I have become accustomed to it and just stay with it.
Ahh ok I was wondering. I don't blame you for just sticking with it, I probably would too.
I shot a 20X game tonight!!!!!
I haven't done that in a while. 23x's in a row.
I have to let my sub conscience rule.
My son & I are entered into a weekly tournament that shoots 60 arrows a night, total possible score of 300 each night,, once a week. It's two hours a week for 10 weeks, at the end of the 10 week tournament the scores are added. Different catagories, traditional, recurve & compound,,, my son & I use a compound. The distance is only 20 yards, but it's not piece of cake to shoot consistant 5 & X's.
Congrats, well shot
