Don't know if any of yall shoot scopes but if you do I'm curious what lenses you use in them? I've got a new one that removes the pin from the scope and replaces it with a dot that's pretty awesome!

I shoot a 4x with a ring. I tend to try to peek at the spot with a dot.

I don't like covering up what I am aiming at. For spots with my compound I use a True Spot. For my Olympic recurve I use an adjustable orifice.

If you remove your lens for cleaning etc. make sure it goes back in the same position. Them dang dots are never truly centered. At least I can't. Or you can get a lens with a centering groove.

Check out Clear Targets - Archery Scope Lenses they're the ones I was talking about and I've shot a few of them with some crazy styles (ring, dot, combination) and I've never had any issues with the dots not being centered. YMMV.

Do you add your own ring. That is the style that I was thinking about. I see these are fixed dots. They should be centered but have never trusted one to be so. If you rotate the lens 90 or 180 degrees etc you will change your aiming point. You can adjust the sight a click or 2. I am always careful to set the lens in the same way. I have had sights with notches so they can't be rotated.

With my target panic 1/4 inch at 20 yards is the least of my worries at the moment!

His lenses are what I use. Not sure what they cost now but when I bought mine they were like less than half of big name brands and better quality.

'Twas a rough weekend for my arrows. Currently down to 4. I have a fita style tournament coming up. I've been shooting Easton pro fields and really like them performance wise, $ wise not so much. I was hoping a few of you may have experience with GT ultralight pro.

    Freestyle
    hoyt pce
    27.875 dl
    57 lbs

i mostly shoot field and average 540, most ranges I shoot wind isn't a big concern. I need uniformity and consistency.

trying to keep arrow build cost down, and stay away from aluminum carbon arrows because of durability issues. So other recommendations would be welcomed.

i have tried vaps, and black eagle micro diameter shafts, both left me wanting more out of them.

I have liked the vaps I got this spring. Except I agree with price. I still have 10 of the dozen I got this spring although #10 doesn't seem to be flying right
