    I don't use a guard.

    I feel if you need one you are not holding or have your bow set up right.

    I know wearing one is like a helmet or auto insurance. You use it hoping you don't need it but I don't wear one either.

    I wore one for a long time as a safety blanket type thing until I misplaced it one day.

    I realized I didn't need it and haven't replaced it.

    I shot last week after a couple of months off and felt the string lightly a couple of times.

    Just a gentle reminder to not be lazy.

    I don't wear one but looks like a low brace height on that LB.
    One of my Korean bows was about 5.5" & I would get slapped if I didn't hold & follow thru correctly. I soon learned which way my elbow had to point
    It's ironic I would get slapped at all as I can't fully straighten my left arm due to a previous dislocated elbow.
