This forum's about our other passions, and one of my greatest passions is photography, particularly street and travel photography. I think many here are photographers too, so I thought a thread showing some of our pictures may be a visually interesting and enjoyable thread. I included some technical details for those who may be interested.

Here are some of my favorites. I hope you like them.

    Concert in Prague
    Leica M6, Summicron 35mm ASPH, Delta 3200

    Venice
Leica M2, 50mm Collapsible Summicron, can;t remember what film

    Istanbul

Wow, great pics. I used to do quite a bit of nature photography, but alas, it's been lost for a while due to computer viruses and lost backups

    Beautiful photos Ray!

I am still shooting film. I do have a cheapo Kodak digital but I love my Nikon N-90S so much I just keep buying film. I like B&W:

friend asked me to take some pictures of Montgomery, his Airdale Terrier a couple days before the sad end due to cancer.

I started shooting film about six years ago on a Nikon FM-10 (which is still my main film rig), and I got a D70s about three years ago.

Here's a few of my favorite digital shots (don't have the film ones online)

I shot this one while I was waiting for a beer pong bracket to be filled.

This one was shot at night at the Chicago Public Library (I think that's where it was; the lions are famous).

Somewhere else in Chicago at night.

This one is a closeup of my first high end video card; a BFG Tech 6800 GT OC. Top of the line four years ago.

Here's a two foot "wall" on the U of R campus

A shot of the sun in the clouds. I like it because I think it looks like a snake's mouth

A shot of our "famous" clocktower on the U of R campus

This is a closeup of the U of R clock tower. It was my desktop background, but it's changed now.

This is a little sculpture in what is supposed to be a fountain at Fermi Lab

This is a shot of the shadow of a cricket that just took off. My mom has the signed print hanging at her house.

Here's a shot of some spiral type sculpture at Fermi Lab

An emu. It's located at a breakfast place between Madrid and Santa Fe. They also have a number of wild turkeys that will chase you around.

A public phone in Madrid. I swear, that really is how I found it.

This is a shot of a restaurant in Madrid. It has since changed ownership and names, but it's still famous for extremely slow service. One of my mom's favorite shots, and she has the signed print at her house.

Nice photo's guys. I've got several "vintage" cameras. I've had the itch to buy some 120 to run through my newest (purchased last summer). It's a Yashica LM TLR. So far I haven't found a local source for the film though, so I may break down and order online.

    Hi All,

Some great photos there. RayG, I particularly like the Venice shot, and Lilith, the flowers are beautifully captured!

I also like photography, but rarely get the time at the moment to indulge. Here are some landscapes I took on my honeymoon when my wife and I went to New Zealand.

Camera is a digital Canon EOS 300D (since upgraded to a 400D). PM me if you want a full res copy for personal use.

    Ash.

RayG, I love how you capture light in your photographs. Good stuff, I really enjoyed looking at those photos.
