    Default Brass Rod

I have been scaling a lot of razors lately. It seems like I am always running short on something, wood stock, washers, and brass rod for pins. Rods are the hardest to find at a decent price. So, when I found some, I got some. I think 75 feet of 1/16 brass rod should last a couple of months.

Where did you get your nickel silver? I have a Henckels Emperor that has never been honed but has some light surface rust on the tang. I want to take the blade out to do a proper restore (6/8 round point) but I don’t want to put a brass pin back in with a nickel wedge pin.

I could not pass up the price, at just under 50 cents a foot (and brass prices going through the roof, can’t even afford to reload any more) I figured I better stock up.
