Man, I feel for your boy Roy. Sounds like he's on the mend though. I always hate it when they are under the weather. Dogs are such troopers though. It's one of their most admirable qualities. Give him a big hug for me.

I think the nub looks more his style! :D
Mebbe this episode will mature him some. Smarter dog?
First and foremost, Travis is a pretty good dog. However I do wish I could have gotten him when he was much younger it's been trying to get him to understand commands but we are working on it.
With the 'defect' in Travis's tail, he didn't wag it at all. Here's a picture of it before being docked. The section right before it turns down was totally fused/no joints at all so was the turned down portion so he couldn't wag it. There were only a few places in his tail that actually had joints.

About the tail being docked. We just got home for a short walk and I like the way the 'bob' looks when he walks.
Chicks love scars anyway so when they take a snif, bam Travis has that going for him..
Instant heart throb..
Done good by him Roy, best buds forever.

The things that I'll do for Travis. Attachment 329662
The snow has drifted in the back yard. I measure about 15"s and he doesn't want to poop out there OR Pee. The peeing we get done by going on a walk but he's really hesitant to tackle the deep snow to poop.
So I went out and dug a couple of trenches to see if that will help. There's one to the fence behind the BBQ and the other leads to the fence behind us. I also dug a trench along the fence. I hope he appreciates it.
