When I have used a dog to hunt squirrels it was to chase them up the tree and then go around the other side from us to make it easy for us to shoot them. They would go to the other side from the dog which meant to our side.
People work just as well as dogs for that style of hunting.....

Love the video Jamie. My boy Sebastian (Jack Russell) goes insane chasing squirrels although he's a fat middle aged guy now and doesn't catch them much these days. His biggest problem is he steals food from our big boy Max (120 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback) who is a pushover most of the time. So he eats enough for a dog twice his size. Everyone in our house is on a new diet and exercise regimen though. We all joined a gym. They need a gym for dogs.

A pile of pooped pups at the breeder from whom we got our golden.
I think they are around 7 weeks old. Count ‘em - there should be 13 in the litter.
