We have two large Standard Poodles. The male is about 70 pounds and is named Orion. The female is about 50 pounds and is named Abbigail. They are not actually your standard, Standard Poodles. They are what is called Parti colored. The male is black and white and the female is brown and white. They are litter mates and are now about 2.5 yrs old.
Believe it or not, the male likes to sit in a stuffed leather chair like a human next to my wife while we are watching TV and get his back scratched. Quite the sight!

This is Mable and Milli. Mable is a Husky/border collie cross and Milli is a Papillon/Foxy cross. They get on like a house on fire. An interesting fact about these two is that Mable can fit Milli's head in her mouth....

We have two dogs. The border collie we picked up as a puppy from the animal shelter. Yes, he's a border collie. The littler mates were all standard looking BC's. He's reverse, taller & heavier than a normal BC at about 50 pounds. The other dog is a German Shepherd, possibly a mix or just bad breeding, we picked up from a German Shepherd rescue. She's a tank. Built like a log with legs, weighing in at nearly 70 pounds, but the sweetest dog you could ask for. Total tummy whore.

Two beagle/shepherd mixes called Guinness & Bounder and a pit mutt named Lily - all rescued and all good as gold. Well, except for Lily - she hasn't quite gotten past 'if I can reach it I can eat it' yet. They own the sofa and occasionally allow us to use it.

My boy when we were still doing search and rescue together. Torr is a german wirehaired pointer and eats hills for breakfast. Lovely nature and with the socialising work with all humans as part of his initial training as a pup, he loves everybody! He is not a great collie fan though, been nipped by far too many on training weekends.

Torr's now training for the fire brigade - at least I reckon he will give them training some time soon when he goes up in flames!

I had three boxers but I lost my female boxer this summer and am down to two . Whenever I have a bad day they always cheer me up. They are an amazing breed.

Scrunt, my third boxer. He was the runt of the litter and no one wanted him so we kept him. Two weeks after this picture was taken my female boxer Bridget was killed in a car accident  so I'm glad we kept him because he has the same personality as she had.
