I just got Lucy on Saturday. She's a real handful, but it's worth it.

They are just great dogs, all around! Very calm most of the time, surprisingly coordinated with those long legs and amazingly conscious of their movements. It's easy to forget how big they really are because of those traits.
If there's one thing that bugs me about him, it's that he's bound and determined to be a scent-hound but hasn't decided what he's trying to track down with that giant nose of his. I mean he just has to smell everything that is somehow new to him; the mail especially packages, people that have been out of his sight for more than a few minutes, the food your trying to eat, fresh clothes in the morning, the entire backyard at least twice a day, the list goes on....
It really amuses me more than anything but it'd be nice if we could somehow put it to good use, like tracking down antique razors/stones :D.
