Sorry about your loses guys. I know it's hard. Right now I am dealing with an older fur kid going down hill quickly.
She's my min pin, been with me for going on 14 years. A few weeks ago she had a series of seizures and just isn't the same any more. Just stands there staring off in to no where for 30-45 minutes. Doesn't let you know when she has to go out either. I have puppy pads by the door, at least she still goes there
I'm dreading the day I have to put her down. We've been through a whole lot together. The boys love her too. But Joey, my 3yr old loves our Rottweiler, so I think he'll be ok when Xena is gone.
So sorry Dave, I have a very good idea of what you are dealing with now and the soon to be future. You have my prayers.
Thanks Dan, I feel for you as well. It's not easy. But it beats their suffering. They bring so much joy to our lives, but it lasts for such a short time
I lost my buddy today. I don't know what happened. She was laying in her spot like usual when I went home for lunch. When I grabbed her leash and called her name she lifted her head slightly and then went still.
