Changed motor oil / trans oil / spark plugs on my wife's bike today so she will be ready to go...
I was tryin' to figure out which is worse,ignorance or apathy...Then I realized I don't know and I don't care...

I always liked the styling on the Buells. Seemed to be respectable bikes. Thats a nice one!
I remember they had a 500cc 'half a Harley' model, the 'Blast'. I often wondered about the source for that motor and if Harley built it just for them?

It's a 1200 Harley on steroids tuned with hotter cams and compression (10:1) - made by Eric Buell a former Harley racer - This is the first one he built (1997) , Lightning S1 , loads of torque (129 Nm) for its day... 0 to 60 mls in 4.1 sec - modified the exhaust (Supertrapp) and air filter (got rid of the breadbox)

I don't know why Buell's were discontinued! They are badass bikes. I worked on a few & when test riding, you have to be careful not to let the frontwheel come up on you when taking off. They're a high performance street bike designed for taking sharp turns also because of the rake on them.bartds likes this.
