You're wired for bikes or you're not, I guess. I bailed from a GoldWing in 1995 before it high-sided; I bounced a little, skidded spread-eagled a lot and rolled a little as the finishing act. Bruised ass, sprung little finger, scarred helmet, shredded clothes, totalled bike - fortunately I was dressed for cold weather that day. Now I only dress for the fall. Had a 1996 GL1500 later that year. (I never claimed to have any brains.)
ScottGoodman, MickR and Hirlau like this.

I'm definitely not wired for bikes. Swapped my van for a bike one summer in the late 70's early 80's. It was a Yamaha Seca?? 750...was fun, but absolutely terrifying...not for me!

I used to ride a 94 Fatboy. First day I owned it, I skidded into a ditch and flipped end-over-end. But I got her fixed and got back on.
Sadly, I had to sell the bike two years ago; it started having mechanical and electrical problems I had neither tools nor expertise for and my local dealer is [CENSORED]. Sold it to some guy that knows his way around a wrench better than I as his winter project.
Currently I'm bikeless but that will be remedied when the time's right...

That is a true statement if I have ever heard one.
