    Loose leaves are better because you can have full tea leaves in it that fold open from the hot water and thus releasing all their good properties. Many or most teabagged teas are nothing but cutup twigs and leaves and sometimes I am not sure what they put in there. However, if you compare that to a good cup of fresh green tea then its heaven because you see the little buds unfold and open up their leaves and that is where the anti oxidants and flavor come from

    Jasmine pearl does that. if you have a see thru teapot you can see them unfurl and smell the jasmine. MMMM. I am into japanese teas now though.Japanese teas are very limited in thier choices; unfortunately.
