Arnotts Tim Tam Original!
These tasty little treats from the land down under where everyone stands on their heads and eats vegamite sandwiches are a wonderful chocolate cookie, covered with a chocolate dip! Wonderful tasty little cookies that my wife and I could eat all day!!
The other finer thing in life is having an Australian friend who is thoughtful and kind hearted enough to send these little goodies to my family!!
Thanks Jimbo!
Your friend Mark
The package arrived in good condition Sir!Last edited by JMS; 11-23-2008 at 05:23 PM.

I'm not finished tooting Jimbos horn!
Not only did he send those wonderful treats but he sent a stuffed animal for each of my children!
What really got me was the hand written note which, to my way of thinking, shows a level of consideration and courtesy that one does not find often in our modern world!
James is an old world gentleman which is rare and often times overlooked and not appreciated in todays hustle and bustle!
Thank s Again Sir!

What a true Aussie Gent James is! I hope, out of respect, that you're using them in the way they were designed Mark? A mug of tea, a Tim Tam, nibble off each end, lower the TT into the tea and start sucking!

Thanked: 1587Stop it Mark - you are making me blush!
I am glad to hear the package arrived safe and sound. I hope there were no fights over who got the salt water crocodile!
Tim Tams are one of my favourites. Enjoy!

Thanked: 25These are the greatest. I have only been able to get my hands on a couple after 2 friends came back from Melbourne, but you can't beat them. They are my favorite. Nothing matches.

Thanked: 20Thank GOD (and I mean that literally) that Lawblaws imports those little gems to a few places. My girlfriend is from oz, and those are a real treat. better than icecream.
If you've heard of the Tim Tam Slam try it with baileys, very good, and if not, you are missing out.
nibble two opposite corners off of the cookie, and use it like a straw to slurp up some of the drink (coffee, cocoa, whiskey) as soon as you feel it start to collapse, jam the whole thing in your mouth.

Thanked: 25That does sound pretty good. I will have to set off and try that. I have found something similar to Tim Tams at World Market, but they just don't taste the same as the ones my friends brought back.....

Well then, the other day I receive a wonderful package from James and he sent Tim Tams!!! "Tim Tam White", "Tim Tam Classic Dark" and "Tim Tam Originals". We have been happily munching them down here at the Avery homestead.
Thanks again James.
