Thread: Friends

I just wanted to say a public thank you to T-Ram for the kindness he recently showed me. I was asking some questions about cigars and he just out of the goodness of his heart sent me a lighter and cutters and enough cigars to help me get a good stash going. Sometimes I think we forget what a wonderful site this place is and all the wonderful people who hang out here. Many times people here have helped me down this path with out any expectation of personal gain ( glen, Jim, Lynn, Don, and the rest who are too numerous to mention(and you know who you are)) and that is something you don't see very often. So to all of you who helped me out along the way

There are lots of members to thank, but I'd like to give a few shout outs in particular.

Big ups to BlackStangAl for his extreme generosity since I joined the forums.

A big thanks to IceDog for sending a free Colibri lighter my way.

Three cheers for Joe and Karen for opening their home to me, as well as their help with restoration work, sharing their immense knowledge, hosting the Western NY meet, and sending me off with a few meals to go. Also, a thanks to Joe's son for showing me how to make domed washers and watching over me as I made 4.

I want to thank David and Joe for all the help they gave to me while I was blogging. Without a hint that I was a nuisance, even though I'm sure I was from time to time, they always gave me what I needed. Thanks a ton guys!
