Don not inhale and take time to enjoy your cigar!
Arturo Fuente is a decent smoke.

    Have fun Rene

+1 for holli. It's a little tough at first, but think about it like when you use a straw on a drink. It's the exact same, just no liquid. I found that actually practicing on a drink helped me since I already knew how to do that

Here is how it was explained to me, "Draw the smoke in on the roof of the mouth. Hold it for a moment to let it cool. Then blow it out down over the tongue, thats where the taste buds are."

You have been given great advice. Look for Dominican, sun grown with natural wrapper. They are usually pretty mild.

The best cigar is NONE AT ALL!!!
I started out with an occasional cigar and ended up with 20 camel/day.
Why would anyone want to inhale nicotine?
Cigars vs cigarettes is just like crack vs cocaine through a golden straw, one looks more sophisticated but it is the same kind of poison.

I've recently taken up fine cigar smoking and have found it pleasurable. My first cigar was La Diferencia Cubana. Its a nice smoke and not expensive at all. I have yet to try the nicer ones mentioned already. But if you're looking for something that has a decent taste and is inexpensive, try La Diferencia Cubana.

On a side note. Cigar smoking is no where near smoking a cigarette. You do not inhale, as previously stated by the other guys. And there is no where near as much nicotine in a cigar as a cigarette. Nicotine being the addictive ingredient. Cigars have around 1% of nicotine. Fine premium cigars that is. If you buy store packs, like in walmart etc, those are basically buying a larger cigarette. Fine cigars are made from tobacco. The wrapper, the inside, everything is tobacco. There are no added chemicals, depending if you get flavored ones or not, so there aren't nearly as many health risks as smoking a cigarette.

If health is a concern, cancers of the mouth are a possibility of occurring because the smoke stays in your mouth rather than going into your lungs. Other than all that, I say enjoy your smoke adventure!

I don't inhale mine. I have about 4-5 cigars a year. And absolutely love them. The biggest impediment I have to smoking them is finding a nice place to relax with them. It normally takes me around an hour on average to smoke one. I refuse to smoke in my home so I smoke them on the golf course, at a bar/cafe that provides good separation between tables, or on my patio in good weather. My lady really loves the smell of them.
