Some of my regulars: Boswell, Bjarne, Hardcastle, Nording, Peterson, Tsuge, and my meers (yes, a 'bash is a cool smoke, just not too portable).

I've noticed a few people who smoke pipes as they work. They employ short stem pipes or cheap cob pipes for this purpose. I smoke a pipe during leisure time, at the most while I drive. I find that the very shape and feel of a good bent pipe to be most conducive to a relaxing atmosphere. I like the "Sherlock Holmesness" of a good bent. I also like churchwardens for their same relaxing properties. I keep two churchwardens at home. At work I use a Brebbia natural Bulldog and an unknown half bent briar which I bought from Premierpipes.com . Good smokes and they relax me as I drive between stops at work. Surprisingly the headshop on Maple Ave here in Dallas has a great collection of flavored tobaccos and are always giving me free samples but I usallly just buy a cheap bag of cherry vanilla or a pouch of Captain Black.

Wow, some nice pipes out there. I have many different pipes, but I prefer bent bulldogs and Rhodesians. The brand most represented in my collection is Peterson, especially the 80s and 999 styles. Some are the P-Lip stem and some are regular. I have no preference. Right now I'm smoking a Peterson Kilarney 408 P-Lip Prince. I like McClelland Virginia tobaccos, sometimes with a bit of Perique. My standard, go-to tobacco is Samual Gawith's Full Virginia Flake, which is in my Kilarney now. I have a couple of Meerschaums, in which I smoke various Latakia blends, but I must be in the mood for my Meerschaums.

One of these days I'd like to try a Dunhill, I just haven't gotten around to it.

My vote goes to the older petersons, though there are quite a few close seconds.

I have to agree with you about SG Full Va Flake. This has been my all day smoke for some years now and I can't see me tiring of it. I enjoy SG medium Va as an evening smoke lately, though I still fall back to my selection af rattrays more often than not out of habit.

I've been smoking Gawith & Hoggarth Rum Flake for years as my main smoke. I used to also smoke 965 and Nightcap quite a bit. Now GL Pease's Robusto and to a lesser extent Haddo's Delight are part of my routine.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
