    Default Remington Model 11

I know this thing looks like a beater not worthy of bragging, but I paid a whopping 60 dollars for it!! The fella that sold it to me thought it was only worth the sum of it's parts. I have cleaned it (took about 3 hours). I have a Ram Line synthetic stock set coming and I am sweating a new bead on the barrel. Shot about 15 shells through it yesterday an went without a hitch. This gun was made before 1929.

It had a few bad dents in the barrel so I lopped it to 18.5 inches. The stock is trashed. Then fore end isn't too bad. Mod 11s and A5 Brownings will beat the crap out of you when you shoot them. Recoil operated guns are very different than gas guns!

That's pretty sweet. Are you going to modernize the stock or try to keep it original looking?

Neat gun. If im not mistaken that is the precursor to the 11-87 and 1100 series semi-auto shotguns, right??

It will get a new stock set. Ram Line synthetic. The 11-48 and the Model 58 Sportsmen were the precursor to the Model 1100 and 11-87. I am still debating the metal finish. Cold blue or Krylon camo?

In that case, get a sweet folding stock from cheaper than dirt and do the cold blue. That would be a badass reincarnation for that gun. That's just me though

The Ram Line will head back to Cabela's. It won't fit at all! I have to rethink this project.
