Yes, I have seen the glory in the super markets. I have in fact had my fair share of Tim Tam slams now in the states.

They look like Penguin biscuits here in the UK. Fantastic straight out of the fridge.

Yes, you are correct, well spotted. Obviously you are a fine biscuit connisour of the highest order.Having done a taste compararison between the two, my team of tasters gave tim tams the nod for having a nicer chocolate coating.

I will have to find these upstart Tim Tams to have a taste test of my own. All biscuits bow down to the mighty Chocolate Hobnob though.

If Tim Tams are going to be made available to Americans I think it is important that we let them know the correct way to eat a Tim Tam. Others may disagree with me but in my oppinion the best way to eat a Tim Tam is first, remove it from the fridge. Then the next step is to bite off opposing corners of the Tim Tam. Then, the most important step is to use the Tim Tam as a straw to suck up a biscut full of good port, or other sweet laquer. Lastly, before the Tim Tam falls apart shove the whole thing in your mouth and wash it all down with the remainer of the laquer.
