They came out a couple of weeks ago where we are, under the Pepperidge Farm brand in regular chocolate and caramel. Am back in Tassie for a couple of days and brought the family some as a joke (long standing tradition of being sent back to the states with a suitcase full of them).
Haven't tried the port way but we always do it with tea/coffee/Milo; even more important to keep them in the fridge then.
Now, if we could just get hold of Arnott's kingstons...

Thanked: 1587Or Mint Slice......mmmmm...mint slice....
And, to Jim, of course Aussies drink lacquer! It is a well-known method for lining your stomach before a night out on the town! (NOTE: Joke! DO NOT drink lacquer).
I must say that I am disappointed Tim Tams are now available in the US. First Vegemite, now Tim Tams - what little treats are left to me to send to my US friends?? Chocolate-dipped Drop Bear testes are hard to obtain, but now I feel that is all that is left to me....

I thought those testes were naturally chocolate-y... and salty too... and teste-y
My village doesn't yet have them, nor does it have the bear drops, or the koala nipples, so i'm going to keep the score on who's lazier, a declining store chain, or a bald gentle ausie
