Default The Late Great John Fahey

I have been listening to John Fahey since the late sixties and I never get tired of him. I frequently play cds of him while tattooing and many customers want to know who he is and copy the info so they can get his stuff themselves. Anyway if you've never heard him you're in for a treat.

Wow he is/was terrific! If you like Fahey you must love Leo Kottke.

Sure I like Kottke. Fahey released Leo's first album, Six and Twelve String Guitar, It was a demo that Kottke sent to Fahey when JF was the owner of Takoma records. I like Fahey better though.

Yeah they are great and I'm betting if this thread is going to get hijacked we will see many more additions so who better then Brownie McGhee.

My girlfriend knew Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. I'm going to have to ask her to tell me the story again.

Wow, that's weird, I only just heard of John Fahey a few days ago, I favorited the videos you posted less than a week ago.

I don't know if this thread is about finger picking or the blues, but I'll just put this here anyways.
