I see a downward (Upward?) trend in my life... I started with wristwatches... moved onto fountain pens and have come to straight razors... before long I figure I'll be riding a horse to work and have a home blacksmithy for shoeing my own horses.

From this thread, I've decided I really *NEED* an Omega Speedy.... that watch has been on my short list for years. I've got a Planet Ocean which I've abused to all ends and it still runs like a top.

Recently, I've become enamored with the titanium Oris divers... they've treated me wonderfully as well.

I have a few others which I love and adore... my Hubolt Big Bang I was wearing when my daughter was born... it will never leave my possession even if I decide I no longer wish to wear it.

I need to figure out my spouses camera and how to post photos efficiently on the web... On a very positive note, razors seem to be a much cheaper hobby than fountain pens... and fountain pens were worlds cheaper than good watches.

I don't know about that. Some of the Fountain pens I've seen lately aren't that far off from very good quality watches.

I still think about getting a classic moonwatch one day, although the new version with the co-axial movement, like that in your PO, looks really good. I don't own a chrono, but I still haven't given up hope on a Calibre 11 Heuer Carrera. Maybe you hava a lead on one, Nelson?

Yeah, fountain prices have gone up for some brands. I am lucky I got into them back when I did.

If you had asked me about this at this time last year I had that exact watch but sold it to a guy in Switzerland. I also had an Autavia I sold also. If you want a classic moonwatch you want the one with the classic mvmt.

    Default Zodiac Watches

I am a big fan of Zodiac watches. The old ones that were made before the company was sold. The Sea Wolf and The Super Sea Wolf were among the most attractive watches I have known. Fossil bought out Zodiac and no longer makes the type of watches that Zodiac were famous for. They were very popular among military personnel.
