Jeeze, those are nice bikes for killer prices! He must be picking them up for dirt cheap.
I'm a big fan of the Hypermotard. In fact, if someone said "pick any bike you want", it'd probably be that one. But, at $12k, I don't think it's happening. I'll be sticking in the used $2500 range sadly.

Thanked: 234mmm, I've ridden a bonnie, I felt it was a bit flat. They're good bikes mechanically though.
The Thruxton, to me, is a complete nearly bike. It should be so much more than it is. I have a friend who had one maybe a year or 18 months ago, he spent a bit of money on it and had a few things done to the engine and he reckons it totally transformed the bike. In fact, all the people I know who've had/have thruxtons have had work done to them. Putting bonnie cams in for a start.
The street tripple is supposed to be a very good bike, they're selling out over here.
I dunno, guess you've got to figure out what you want first.

He has some great stuff!
He is just very kind when it comes to pricing; he isn't looking to rip people off in any way. He is just a really good guy, and I have dealt with him on several bikes for myself, plus a few bikes for friends.

I love Bonnies. My 1969 Bonnie was stolen back in 1970. Probably saved my life. Now, I can only admire other peoples bikes. Still enjoyable, and quite economical!
Cheers,
Rick

I can ride, I just don't. It's a financial decision. If I lived in a warm climate like southern California, it would probably be different.
I still love bikes, but I put my limited resources into guitars. You can play them all year long, usually in a social setting - and that's a lot of fun.
Cheers,
Rick

Ahh, gotcha. I'm hoping to push my riding as far into the cold weather as I can, but we'll see how long that lasts. I suppose as long as it doesn't ice/snow, I can ride in almost anything.

Wow, what a trooper! I didn't know it was possible to ride in the cold until I went to Paris and saw all those Frenchmen zipping around in terribly cold weather. Obviously I'll have to upgrade my mesh armor and vented gloves I'm sure the wife will love to hear that. "Sweetheart, I need to buy an armored parka so I can ride in the cold."

I bought an '04 Bonnie for my wife and we both love it. No mechanical issues and she looks great! Always gets a comment or two from total strangers....many people can't tell the differences between the older ones and the new ones. I thought that 8K was a very reasonable price for a brand new bike.....I'm a Harley guy but think these new Bonnies are much better than the HD Sporty for the money.
